this has been an incredible day. im so tired, my head is killing me.
both kids woke up with colds & were cranky. i have a sore throat but its managable.
i did the normal stuff dishes, tidying, knit a little, etc.
audrey was miserable after school. so we played for an hour & it cheered her up. then we went to the grocery store.
then max came home and everything fell apart.
he came home with a letter stating "your child has evidence of head lice" then a huge long list of what to do and that he cant go back to school until you can provide proof he has been treated. well i looked i didnt see anything. ( oh yeah every kid in his class got thsi letter but the mom i spoke with dont see lice either) since liz was sitting on her porch was catching on to what was going on she offered to look- she said she'd seem lice before ( i hadnt) but she didnt anything. well along with the lice letter was a school wide letter saying there was a lice out break, another letter saying there is a strep throat out break, and another letter saying there's many cases of pink eye. oh yeah and on friday we got a letter about a student in teh district who had anti-biotic resitant staph!
pfffffttt
so what to do?
i decided to treat for the lice even though i didnt see anything i figured maybe theres something there im missing?
i do know im ca;lling the principal and i think every other mom in his class is too!

*** also i got an email back from the reporter he didnt know about the broken windows so he'll look into it! cool power to the people!
