today with help from both kids ( max stayed home becuase of his cold & super sore throat) we cleared out the hosta bed. it also invovled a call to my mom. and now the some of the hostas have been some what replanted in the yard (ok tossed then excess rooty dirt was thrown on top then covered with leaves). the remaining hostas have already found a home thanks to freecycle!

im going to let the soil rest a bit then dig around some more for roots ive missed. then i'll plant all the lilly of the valley i dug up from the front yard!
