yesterday was exhuasting!
we moved 3 peices of furniture from the 2nd floor downstairs and all the way around the corner to susan's for the yard sale. we sold 2 of them. and gave away the 3rd. hey at least they are out of the house! :D
also we went to a park for the beenfit. that was a lot of HOT fun! there was a kid olympics, and a rubber ducky race. some how, i guess due to my own nature, i kept an eye on abby since her mom was running the benefit & hey whats one more kid to watch? :D
we got home just in time to watch the penn state game.
i woke up this morning headache free :D some how though im freezing and jittery cold. the kids cleaned the dig it out skeleton and we're getting ready for the 'mushroom festival' at kennet square- the mushroom capital of the world! we've tried to go so many other years and have never been able to go. the eagles nfl kick off is today too. football season means i get alot of knitting done :D
i do need to go the grocery store too and get some laundry done but shawn can do the laundry while watching the game.
last BUT not least ----
here's my BIG news!!!
i'm looking into two leads for adopting a pug :D i was keeping quiet about it, but now shawn knows :D we'll see!!
one doggie is in NJ and i filled out an application on friday and i havent heard back yet. the other i heard about from a neighbor, and its someone in the nieghborhood who needs to get rid of her dog b/c she just had a 2nd baby and cant give the dog enough attention. so i dont know, we'll have to see how things go. i'm excited but reserved. i dont know if the NJ dog will come this far to meet us, or if she would come to a house with such a young child as audrey. and the second dog is 10lbs over weight, but that kinda gets a sympathy vote from me. poor dog needs a diet and some excerise and we would have to go though all of the SPCA's rules to adopt (nothing personal but i've read they wont adopt out to homes with kids under 6- i just dont know how hard and fast that rule is)
so keep your fingers crossed.
