its been a nice quiet labor day.
yesterday i was able to clean the garage and do garden work. its shocking how much nicer the garage looks with all the cowbebs brushed away and the windows washed. since i had the ladder out washed mrs. r's garage windows too.
shawn and i made dinner together and we took the kids out for ice cream.

today i hung some curtains. i wanted a white lace, for front door and finally found what i was looking for at ikea. also my sister pointed out that tension rods were what i needed for my dinner room since shawn didnt want any holes in the new window frames, so now the dinning room has curtains up again!

i have some stuff i want to take pictures of so i can share, but i have put batteries in the camera. i want to show off my pumpkin plant that is a late bloomer. also kerry was very sweet, and gave me her grandmother's sewing box. it goes with my other vintage knitting & sewing items, and its still stocked!

now i'm taking a break from a cartoon marathon that i was waiting for all day, while shawn is printing some stuff for me.
