its here birthday party day!
in my sleep i realized:

1) i didnt count maxwell & audrey for my activity/goodie bag therefore wouldnt have enough extras for surprise guests or siblings. so i took care of that

2) figured a solution to my high humidity=soggy snack problem. i could get those indivually packaged lunch box sized snacks. and they might even be on sale with all the back to school stuff. thats a lot more packaging then i normally advocate but today my performace anxiety wins out over my ecological consceince. i'll make it up somehow.

i was totally down in the dumps yesterday and if i wasnt working on party stuff i just laid around in my bed :( it was nice that both kids would come and check on me though and cuddle and try to cheer me up.

one last thing :
here's a photo of the wild stripes baby blanket. its coming along nicely- im enjoying it!
