house update

here's a bit of an update:
i'll try to make this brief and easy to follow:
on friday night we got an offer on our house. saturday we went to PA
since we still had an open house scheduled for that weekend. sunday
we showed our contract to our buyer agent in PA, and she told us
since we now had a contract our seller would be willing to rent us
the house until settlement. monday we went and looked at the empty
house in PA one more time and discussed how the rental agreement was
to be written. we were driving home from PA to MD around 5 pm last
night and we got a call that the offer we received on our house had
been retracted.
it was such a shock, and happened so late in the day we haven't
talked to any agents about it, and we really haven't even talked to
each other about it.

i typed that out this morning for a friend, since then i have briefly talked to shawn about it, and we are leaning towards just giving up for now, and try to update some more things around the house and try to sell it again in the spring and then find another great house in west chester
