i met with laurie last night. it was nice, a little akward at first. i had been wondering all day " have i changed? stayed the same? do i want to have changed? stayed teh same? which is the right answer?"
but after a few minutes of just soaking each other in and all the time that past it was just college days. laughing, joking, catching up. swapping stories about our kids, and who had seen who, what mischiveous habits we out grew ( i gave up my sticky fingers) and which we hadnt (like my terrible sense of direction despite living in the same place for 12 years!)
so it ended really great in lots of laughs and we decided to met up again in a park so we can both bring our kids and let them run amock.
