so here's some of the things we noticed about south beach. they are always trying to get people to call it SoBe. practically no one speaks english as their primary languge, and no one is orginally from miami. most people smoke. we saw lots of little dogs in purses and even one in a stoller!
the main strip is ocean drive, you just walk up & down and you are stopped every few feet but restraunt hosts & hostesses doing anything in their power to get you to sit down. "1/2 off happy hour" (which was going from 11am till 9pm) "1/2 off entrees". it was crazy i had never experienced anything like that on either coast or in london! open container laws dont apply dont there i guess we saw people carrying mixed drinks around.

so eating, drinking, and high end shopping that was ocean drive.

i guess it was saturday we drove to coconut grove and saw an open air art show. it all was mediums, there was some nice stuff but overall it was so crowded you couldnt really see anything and well i wasnt looking to buy :)
