this may turn into the world's strangest vent about a husband but here goes**:

ever since we moved in (1 year year and 5 days ago) shawn's office chair has been ripping up the hardwood floor in his office. he is ALWAYS saying he'll get a chair pad or a rug. never does it. his latest solution?
he has put down newspaper. newspaper? newspaper. is there puppy up there he is training i dont know about? would newspaper really help any way? now there's ripped newspaper all over his floor in addition to splinters and the the sounds of ripping paper whenever he moves in his chair. its the craziest thing. i dont get it. im supposed to be the crazy one, and this makes no sense to me what so ever.
im so torn (no pun intended) do i just ingnore the sitution? buy him a floor covering? take him with me to go buy one? have an intervention?
