last night was so much fun getting together with all my knitting freinds!!! it was one of those moments were it felt like nothing had changed. until i had to face the two drive home :P
but there was the usual exhange of patterns and stories, examing each other's progress, and color and material choices. there was the surprise visits from robert who no one had seen in months, i got to see phil, kerry's husband and her mom who was visiting for the holidays.
on the way home i was very aware there were state troopers all along the highways so when i finally got close to home i started to relax. i was only a few blocks from my house, and admiring a B&B on the right when i saw a total of 6 deer in the road on my left! they were frozen in the headlights & there was no other traffic so i tried flashing my high beams and that worked. they started to move out of the road. about a block further closer to home there was two cars headed towards the deer so i flashed my lights at them and hope they slowed down at least for their own safety.
