friday was a foot race in media, saturday was a bicycle race in west chester!!

by the end of the race ( about an hour) maybe only half of the professional racers even finish the race.
this race has become huge, from a sunday afternoon race, where we could sit at the resturant that host the race, to an evening 'criterium' with racers from around the world competing for $10,000. every sunday we see local residents practicing for the race, so it was worth fighting the crowds so max could see their perserveance, and that winning isnt everything, which has been a huge lesson for him over the past two race days.

oh and a sidenote for veronica- i tried to get down early becuase kathy o'connell was hosting the kid's races but we were too busy with household chores- she is still going strong with kids corner on wXPN.
