its been a great day. thanks to shawn, kerry, kathy, and zak who have all ensured i got off my butt and did stuff this weekend. i have knit. i have spun. i have been a tourist in the solomon islands. i laughed watching audrey perform songs, dances and flying leaps. i can not wait for max to come home and tell me all about his friend's birthday party. shawn has been so helpful around the house and is being encouraging me to be busy but not correcting me for being lazy. it was such a busy i forgot to eat lunch.

on a sad note, one of our wild lizards died this morning. i assume he had a run in with the lawnmower. mind you i hated this lizard. i was prejeudiced against him- he was missing his tail and that freaked me out. also he wasnt a shy lizard. he wouldnt scurry away if someone approached, you'd have to step over him- or in my case go around him in a ten foot radius. granted he freaked me out, but i didnt want him to die. im being a wuss and hoping shawn will remove the remains. that not a job i'm squmish about but- i just cant stand this tail-less lizard.
