i started the 2nd sleeve of audrey's sweater yesterday. i cast on while i was in the doctor's office. i went to bed at 10pm, i'd say its about 1/2 knit. i still have the hood and little kangaroo pocket too. ive been feeling a little down on myself about this project. ive taken it out a few times at karate only to have other parents say "oh i thought you'd be done with that by now..." :P seesh! plus when i see the pile of pieces of rolled up stockinette with ends hanging out, i think " i dont want to sew all this!"
but audrey is still interested in have a sweater so it will all pay off in the end.
im not usually into knitting things with out a purpose but... i've all toyed with the idea of knitting an acorn. now the idea of knitting a peanut has popped in my head. maybe a boucle yarn to simulate the bumpy peanut texture?
