i spent most the day wrapping gifts on & off depending on who was around. then max got home from school with the news that 1) he has been being bullied/teased on the bus for some time now and 2) tomorrow is crazy pajama day.

1) bully. the teasing doesnt really sound that bad in the scheme of things just some older boys saying he is their slave and isnt allowed to move but they walk around on the bus. one of these boys challenges max to a race home everday then gloats when he beats max- this is actually how i found out about the teasing. i said that someone who is always does that isnt really a friend, and max told me what was going on, on the bus home. so tomorrow i'm calling school and or the bus company.

2)crazy pajama day. max mentioned something about pajama day at school, but i also remember shawn steering the conversation elsewhere, maybe the class party & i forgot. so today at 4pm i get a note saying since tomorrow is the shortest day the year kids can wear pj's to school if they bring a $1 donation for lukemia research. well max is growing like a weed im having a hard time keeping him dresssed in play clothes much less pajamas. so we looked thru what he had and determined everything was too short or tight tminus a pair of tailored red plaid pj's. then he starts on its 'crazy' pajama day and they arent crazy enough. considering the state of all his other pajamas i guess i could spring for a new pair so we head out, and dont see anything crazy enough but do find a pair of green plaid tailored pj's so he is now set on wearing the top to one set and the pants to the other!

and im just really hoping he really wont be teased about this! :)
