its truly getting down to the wire. i might to need buy a sewing machine tomorrow. i was able to take in max's pants at the waist by hand but the legnth is about 4-5 inches too long. i thought it i could sort of tuck it in at the knee and secure it with a few stitches but he wont stay still while i pin it and i doubt he'd stay still if i tried to sew it while he was wearing it.
so my second plan of attack would be to cut that entire 4 inches out and re-sew which would go much quicker & smoother with a machine.
maybe i can get him to try get him stand still again tomorrow morning on a chair if i find a snack he can eat and that he will stay clean & eat at the same time.
i need to get this done by thursday afternoon so they can wear their costumes to the west chester halloween parade.
if my obsessive nature really kicks in ill need to run out and get thermal undies for the kids too.

new story:

we have one of our first scheduling conflicts. shawn & i won tickets to the penn state vs temple game at the CF silent auction. well the kids were invited to a birthday the same day. plus its at their karate school so i know they would love to go and shawn & i would love to see it too-
im not sure what we'll do. i've already thought maybe grandmom & grandpop can take them, but it might be hard for them to manage plus honestly i'd be a little jealous that i didnt get to see it (they get to break boards!).
i've thought maybe shawn can go to the game with a friend and i'll take the kids to the party.
my kids dont get invited to alot of parties that arent family. and maybe they will later when there are more school friends so i don want to take away this rare invite. plus they are friendly with the birthday girl and her brother and these siblings were nice enough to come to max's party. so i dont know im sure we'll work out a solution. we decided for now it would what until shawn came home from DC to discuss a plan.
